Should’ve listened when OT said get two

I didn’t really get it until we had a rough week in November and I was carrying my 8 year old up the stairs to his swing for the third time in two days. Ordered the second one that night. Now he has two safe places he can reach fast.

Bought the second for myself, honestly

We got a second one mostly because she got annoyed that I was in hers. shipping was fast both times.

Much better to have separate swings

I have twins, both with sensory stuff, I don’t know why I thought one swing was going to work, but they fought about it constantly. Got the second one and within like three days they had each picked a “theirs” and stopped arguing about it.

Definitely better to have more than one

Just ordered a second one for our basement playroom. The upstairs one is great but he hates having to go all the way to his room when he’s already melting down in the middle of legos.

Now both kids are calm and happy

My younger one wouldn’t stop sneaking into her brother’s swing. Got a second one because she wouldn’t stop, no matter what we said. Finally, there’s peace in our home.

Getting another one was the best choice

We started with just the bedroom one but the after-school meltdowns always happened downstairs. Having one in each spot means he goes to whichever’s closest when he needs it. Honestly should’ve ordered two from the start.

Now he has a safe space at grandma’s

We visit my parents every other weekend and the trip was always rough with the whole new environment and everything. Worse was the lack of any regulation tools. Well, we left the second swing at their place and the difference is night and day. He asks to go visit now!

Get more if you have several sensory kids

Both of mine are on the spectrum. Sharing was a daily fight. Now they each have their own and it’s the one thing in the house they don’t argue over.

Good to have backup for laundry day

This sounds silly but the swing does get sweaty and needs washing more often than I expected. Having a second one means he never has to go without on wash day.
